Jessica has been volunteering at Lynne Alba Speech Therapy Solutions, P.C since Fall 2019 and is thrilled to join the team as a SLPA.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development from California State University Monterey Bay (CSUMB), Jessica worked as a childcare provider and Preschool Teacher for 3 years. Jessica went back to school to earn a second degree, a Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders from Utah State University (USU), to enable her to pursue a career in Speech Therapy.
While studying in her last year at Utah State, Jessica volunteered at Lynne Alba Speech Therapy Solutions, providing assistance in Toddler Talk Groups. Additionally, while earning her fieldwork hours at Loma Linda University for CA-State licensure in SLPA, Jessica had the opportunity to work with both children and adults at Lynne Alba Speech Therapy Solutions, P.C under the supervision of Stephanie Obusan and Dr. Lynne Alba. Jessica has worked in early intervention, as well as with children with autism, articulation and phonological disorders, fluency disorders, preschool and school-age language disorders. She is excited to continue working with clients, clinicians, and staff at Children’s Speech Care.
When Jessica is not in the clinic, she can be found running by the beach, hiking, or reading.
