Lanie is a dedicated speech-language pathologist with a deep commitment to supporting children in the community. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from the University of Arizona, she went on to complete a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Chapman University. Throughout her training, Lanie gained extensive clinical experience across a variety of settings including hospitals (Torrance Memorial Medical Center), schools (Torrance Elementary and Speech Language Development Center), private clinics (Kids in Motion, Children’s Language Center and Vivian Hsu). Lanie is committed to helping her clients overcome communication obstacles and improve overall development.
As a proud native of the South Bay community, Lanie is especially motivated to give back by providing high-quality, evidence-based, and personalized care to each client she serves. While Lanie has experience working with a wide range of needs, she is particularly passionate about early intervention, articulation/phonological disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, and motor speech disorders. Lanie strives to create a warm, supportive environment where everyone feels encouraged and confident to improve communication skills, and make meaningful strides in their development.
