April received her Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Fullerton. Prior to becoming a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), she gained over 10 years of experience in the education field, working as both an Instructional Aide and in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
April has experience supporting children with a variety of communication needs and is passionate about creating engaging, functional, and individualized therapy sessions. She enjoys collaborating closely with families, teachers, and interdisciplinary team members to help support each child’s communication growth and overall success.
April is fluent in both English and Spanish and enjoys providing therapy in both languages to best support children and their families. She believes in creating a positive, fun, and motivating environment where children feel encouraged to communicate with confidence.
In her free time, April enjoys spending time with her family, going to Disneyland Park, and traveling to her son’s basketball tournaments.
