I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Language Pathology from California State University
Long Beach. After receiving my B.A., I worked as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in a children’s
speech and language clinic. I then received my Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology
from the University of the Pacific. From past employment and internships, I have worked with a variety
of people from the age range of 2 years old to 40 years old. I have experience with expressive/receptive disorders, articulation disorders, fluency disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), hard of hearing, childhood apraxia, and Augmentative and Alternative communication (AAC). The reason I wanted to become a Speech Language Pathologist is because my youngest brother has ASD and I was able to see
how SLPs have changed my brother’s life. Therefore, it is super important to me to build client trust and work together with the families.
On my free time I love to watch movies, do puzzles, and spend time with my family and my dogs!
