Jackie graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences from San Diego State University (SDSU). She received her Speech Language Pathology Assistant license from California State University Northridge (CSUN) and has been practicing as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) since 2019. She is currently enrolled at Northern Arizona University (NAU) where she is completing her Masters in Speech Language Pathology and will graduate in May 2023. Go Lumberjacks!
Jackie is a bilingual Spanish and English speaking SLPA. She is also Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) Certified and loves helping individuals who communicate using echolalia. She enjoys working with children of all ages and a variety of disorders but has a special interest in early intervention. She is a child-led/play-based therapist who supports her clients based of their strengths and always incorporates their interests into therapy. She believes in building strong connections with her clients and providing a fun, language rich environment in her sessions.
In her spare time, Jackie likes going for walks and bike rides on the beach! She also enjoys spending time with her big family and traveling whenever she gets the chance. Jackie loves what she does and wouldn’t change it for the world!
