James received his Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Biola University in 2019. He completed his externships in public school and adult transition center settings. In addition to his externships, James practiced abroad in a short-term trip to Uganda with an organization called Hope Speaks.
James enjoys working with patients of all ages and has experience across a wide range of communicational disorders and difficulties. He has experience working with patients with stuttering and fluency disorders, language and speech-sound disorders, autism, and pragmatic/social difficulties. James’ interests include voice disorders, swallowing disorders, and pragmatic difficulties. His experience includes both individual and group approaches to therapy. James enjoys the process of therapy and believes in working with families and clients to best encourage and celebrate each step toward greater success.
James’ future clinical goals include opening and operating a multi-disciplinary private practice that can provide holistic care between disciplines (speech-language pathology, physical therapy, and occupational therapy) to patients in the same facility. His personal interests include baking, reading fantasy novels, and playing board games and card games.
